Women, men and stereotypes

Hello, it's been some time since I updated. Hi to you, you, and you. How have you been? So before I begin, let me start by wishing all you people an awesome new year.

Well, it's not much but then again, it could be a chance to finally get your life straightened out or to kick bad habits and such. It's a new year and as cliche as this would sound, it's the start of something new.

So what's this about women, men and stereotypes? You'll see, you'll see. Let's begin with women. Women, women, women, always seen as the weaker sex, the one dependant on men and so on. Women are seen as superficial, materialistic and, yes, fake.

Why is it so that men do not treat us as equals? Or are convinced that we're just as good, or even better. Well, in the past, it's just the way society has made women into. Men would be the ones who receive the education opportunities and they would often be the sole bread winner of the family. As for the women, what do they do? They stay home, wash, clean, cook and look after the kids. So it's been the norm for women to be in the kitchen and till this day, that's where men think that women belong. In the kitchen.

Gosh, you guys/men out that. Get over the idea that women nowadays need to know how to cook and do the housework. Hello, we have something called the "domestic helpers". This is the 21st century! We women are independent now. Strong, smart and every bit as capable as you men.

Okay, okay, okay, back to where I was. So, did it ever occur to you why men, till this day still belittle women?

I'll tell you why. It is because, so many women out there act like they need them men around. I think that it is absolutely ironic when women talk about equal rights all the time. That just because we're of a genetically more vulnerable gender, it doesn't mean that we can't achieve what men can. As a matter of fact, we can, and many are already surpassing men. So, what's the irony about? Here goes...

Many women, expect men to give in to their every whim and fancy. Their theory is that... You're a man and you ought to give in to me. Ought to. They should change it to... You're a man and you might want to give in to me. Sounds better?

Well, that's not all. The thing that causes men to think that all women are materialistic and superficial is because of women themselves. Many of them expect men to pay for everything, expect men to buy them expensive stuff and all. Why? Why should they? See, if you want to be treated equally, why do you expect men to pay for everything and buy you everything? Are you not able to work or do you not have arms and legs? This is the reason why men think that way of women.

If you, women want to be treated equally, act like you deserve to be.

It's really fine for a men to pay for a women. At times that is. But the point is, women should not take it for granted or think that men are obliged to do so. It makes women appear all useless and dependant. We women don't need them men to support us, we're don't.

Ladies, who needs those men! :)

Moving on, men. The egoistic creature. (When i say this, I'm bound to have people who'll beg to differ. Oh well.) Well, maybe not all men are. Are they? Never mind about that. There's this thing about men or boys for that matter, like to do that i find absolutely annoying.

They love to generalize and stereotype all women. Enough already! They go... It's okay, you're a women/girl, it's okay for you to cry.

Reality check! Though we're women/girls, it doesn't mean that we're someone who cries all the time. Men think that just because they're the "masculine" one, they cannot cry in front of anyone, because to them, that's their perception of being, "strong". Well all you men out there, please remember, you're only human and it's only human to feel hurt. So why keep your feelings all bottled up? You think that makes you strong?

No, it doesn't.

Men have an endless list of generalizations.

Women are bad drivers, women cannot play soccer well, women are not as fit as men, women are DEFINITELY weaker than men, women all love pink, loves flowers, toys... So on and so forth.

Also, not forgetting one of the most annoying things about men. More often than not, men do not use their heads to think. Especially when it comes to matters of the heart, they tend to think with their dicks. Come on, there's more to life than just sex. Well, I definitely won't generalize saying all men are the same.

But I'll confidently say most men are like that. You beg to differ?

Then again, this is after all only my point of view. If you think likewise, I couldn't care less. I'd just tell you people... Whatever rocks your boat. Figuratively of course.

Just in case you were wondering or you've got the idea that I'm against men, you got it wrong. There's a double perspective here you see. Both, of women and men.

Well, that is about it for this post. Women, man and stereotypes.

Till then.

Pretty girl.

Hello. First time here, very interesting read. Unlike the conventional blogs which post about their daily ongoing life.
About yr most recent post about men women and stereotypes, i guess its just how men function, how we get by thats why u may feel that way. Its just the machoistic way men function that every man must pamper, pay for her food, etc. Sometimes its not we want to, its we feel we NEED to.
I guess thats why God made man and woman for a reason, they have different ways of looking at things, different tasks in life.
Hope to hear from u soon, and more interesting posts.
Wah this sounds like a debate or something except online. Haha!
